KSM-Multistoker HybrenThe most recent addition to the KSM range of boilers is the Hybren series which uses typically oilseed, as a fuel source, and makes these units unique. KSM have combined their Multistoker range of boilers with a press unit that, first extracts oil from the seed, and then burns the resulting cake pellets produced. The oil is pumped into a storage tank for use elsewhere. Typical uses for the oil can be for cooking, or as a source of bio-diesel. A range of seed types can be used, including oilseed, linseed, sunflower and sesame. All Hybren units can also run on wood pellets, woodchip or grain. This boiler combination offers incredibly high savings on heating bills and flexibility.
The 20kW and 35kW Hybren boilers have the same overall dimensions as for the KSM-Multistoker range and have their own internal silo. Larger units require a separate silo and external feed screw which can be supplied, however generally with these sizes of boiler customers have their own equipment. The KSM-Multistokers Automatic range of boilers is supplied complete with fully modulating oxygen control and automatic de-ash. Please note that if grain is to be used then the units need to be fitted with a moving floor burn head. As is the case with all KSM boilers it is possible to supplement fuel types with fire wood.
